No Movies During Nationality Days 2008

That time of the year is here again, and Ambridge is celebrating Nationality Days this weekend, May 16 - 18, 2008.

As always, we will not be showing any films this weekend. However, the concession counter will be open part of Friday evening, during the day Saturday, and during the day Sunday.

In addition, continuing a feature began last year, on Saturday and Sunday we will be having a continuous presentation of a pictorial history of Ambridge. Stop in, rest your feet for a while, and see some of the changes Ambridge has experienced over the years.

College Road Trip

College Road Trip PosterThe weekend of April 25th we College Road Trip.

Dads, do you have trouble letting go of your daughters? James Porter does.

Martin Lawrence stars as Chicago cop James Porter, an overprotective father who wants to keep his college-bound daughter, Melanie (Raven-Symone), close to home. Melanie, though, wants to attend Georgetown instead of Northwestern, a college 40 minutes from home. James insistents on going with her on a cross-country road trip to Washington D.C., hoping to change her mind. En route, the action reaches farcical proportions as befits a National Lampoon movie. Donny Osmond even shows up in his first film role in years, playing an unendingly cheerful dad who is also on a college road trip.
