Local Independent Theatres Featured in Pittsburgh Tribune-Review

The Ambridge Family Theatre is one of only three independent movie houses operating in the greater Pittsburgh area. The other two are The Oaks in Oakmont and the Hollywood Theater in Dormont.

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review had an article on these, and other independent theatres that may be re-opening in the Pittsburgh area on Sunday, February 10, 2008. You can read it at Cinema fans preserve local old-school movie houses.
