One for the Money - Second Week

One for the Money Poster

The week of February 1, 2012 - February 5, 2012 we are happy to be having our second big week of the new locally filmed movie, One for the Money, starring Katherine Heigl, Jason O'Mara, and Sherri Shepherd.

If you missed it last weekend, or even if you saw it, loved it, and want to see it again, this week is the time to spend a few hours with that new lady in the bounty hunter business, Stephanie Plum.

Ah! The trials and tribulations of making a living in the world today. Stephanie Plum is a proud, born-and-bred Jersey girl. She's got plenty of attitude, even if she's been out of work for the last six months and just lost her car to a debt collector.

Desperate for some fast cash, Stephanie turns to her last resort: blackmailing her sleazy cousin Vinnie into giving her a job at his bail bonding company...as a recovery agent, aka bounty hunter. True, she doesn't even own a pair of handcuffs and her weapon of choice is pepper spray, but that doesn't stop Stephanie from taking on Vinny's biggest bail-jumper: former vice cop and murder suspect Joe Morelli - yup, the same sexy, irresistible Joe Morelli who seduced and dumped her back in high school.

Based on the best-selling book by Janet Evanovich, One for the Money will put a smile on your face.

War Horse

War Horse Poster

The weekend of January 20, 2012 - January 22, 2012 we are happy to be presenting War Horse.

Set against a sweeping canvas of rural England and Europe during the First World War, War Horse begins with the remarkable friendship between a horse named Joey and a young man called Albert, who tames and trains him. When they are forcefully parted, the film follows the extraordinary journey of the horse as he moves through the war, changing and inspiring the lives of all those he meets—British cavalry, German soldiers, and a French farmer and his granddaughter—before the story reaches its emotional climax in the heart of No Man’s Land.

The First World War is experienced through the journey of this horse—an odyssey of joy and sorrow, passionate friendship and high adventure. War Horse is one of the great stories of friendship and war— a successful book, it was turned into a hugely successful international theatrical hit that is arriving on Broadway next year. It now comes to screen in an epic adaptation by one of the great directors in film history.

Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol

Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol Poster

The weekend of January 13, 2012 - January 15, 2012 it's time to bring some action back to town as we present the fourth movie in the Mission Impossible series, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, starring Tom Cruise.

Ethan Hunt and his team are racing against time to track down a dangerous terrorist named Hendricks, who has gained access to Russian nuclear launch codes and is planning a strike on the United States. An attempt by the team to stop him at the Kremlin ends in a disaster, with an explosion causing severe destruction to the Kremlin and the IMF being implicated in the bombing, forcing the President to invoke Ghost Protocol, under which the IMF is disavowed, and will be offered no help or backup in any form. Undaunted, Ethan and his team chase Hendricks to Dubai, and from there to Mumbai, but several spectacular action sequences later, they might still be too late to stop a disaster.
