As of Friday, January 19 we will no longer be carrying Pepsi products. Prior to this date we received our soft drinks as five gallon tanks of premixed soft drink. Pepsi has decided to discontinue these, and told us we didn't sell enough soft drinks to serve us as a customer with what is called Bag in a Box, where the soft drink syrup and water are mixed and carbonated at the point of use. The only option they gave us was to sell cans and bottles.

We didn't like the idea of selling cans and bottles. We don't think they are appropriate for a theatre, and they generate much more garbage than the cups we currently used. As a result, we looked for a local supplier and this week Slush Puppie installed a Bag in a Box system for us. We will now be carrying RC products. Our flavors will include

• RC Cola
• Diet Rite Cola
• 7Up
• Canada Dry Ginger Ale
• Stewart's Root Beer
• Sundrop (similar to Mountain Dew)
• Dr. Pepper
• Hawaiian Punch

As you can see, we were able to replace all the old flavors and add two - Hawaiian Punch and Dr. Pepper. That was kind of a bonus for us, and we hope for you.

The third weekend in January we will be presenting Eragon.

While in the forest Eragon finds a blue stone that he thinks will feed his family during the winter. Instead, it brings a dragon, and Eragon becomes a dragon rider in a battle against the evil king, who is splendidly protrayed by John Malkovich. This movie is based on the fantasy novel, Eragon written by Christopher Paolini. He began the book when he was only fifteen. Glenda enjoyed the book, and it's sequel, Eldest. We look forward to eeing the movie.

The second weekend in January we will be presenting the beloved children's classic, Charlotte's Web.

Charlotte's Web plays the weekend beginning January 12, 2007.

Wilbur is a pig, the runt of the litter. He makes an unlikely friend in Charlotte, a spider who lives in his barn. Charlotte uses her web to convince the farmer that Wilbur, as ordinary a pig as there ever was, is worth saving.

We are happy to start the new year with the new James Bond movie, Casino Royale.

Casino Royale plays the weekend beginning January 5, 2007.

Casino Royale shows James Bond's birth as a 007 agent and the development of his taste for Aston Martins, martinis, and beautiful women.

Happy Feet plays from December 22 through New Year's Eve, closing only for Christmas Eve and Christmas.

Mumble is an Emporer penguin, the only Emporer penguin who can't sing. But he sure can dance. Can he be true to his heart, and still be an Emporer? We've been looking forward to this one for months.
