We are happy to announce that this weekend March 2 - March 4, we will be allowed to present Dreamgirls.
Dreamgirls is based on the 1981 Broadway play of the same name. It tells the story of the rise of a black female trio in the early 1960s from small beginnings to stardom. Dreamgirls was nominated for several Academy awards, and won two Oscars. Jennifer Hudson won for best actress in a supporting role, and the film won for best sound mixing. It stars Beyonce Knowles, Jamie Foxx, Eddie Murphy, Danny Glover, Jennifer Hudson, and Anika Noni Rose.

The weekend of February 23 we are happy to be presenting Freedom Writers.
Based on a true story and the book "The Freedom Writers Diary: How a Teacher and 150 Teens Used Writing to Change Themselves and the World Around Them", Hillary Swank stars as the teacher Erin Gruwell. Fresh out of school, Erin goes to work in the inner city Wilson High School with kids whose highest hope is to make it through the day. The movie relates her transformation as a teacher and person, and the transformation of her students as they realize they can make it to life past the age of eighteen.

The weekend of February 16 we are happy to be presenting Night at the Museum.
Ben Stiller stars as Larry Daley. Larry, who can't seem to keep a job, believes he is destined from big things. He takes a job as the late shift watchman at a museum, where they finally happen. The displays come alive.
This show came out December 22, and is still in the top ten at the box office. Our 4:00PM show on Saturday, February 17, is already sold out.

The first weekend in February we will be presenting We Are Marshall.
Marshall University is located in Huntington, West Virginia. One night in 1970 the plane flying it's football team back home from North Carolina crashes, killing 75 members of Marshall's football team and coaching staff. This movie is based on the true story of the plane crash, and the rebuilding of the football team and the healing of the town and university.
