Percy Jackson has the chance to find out what he would do when Zeus' lightning bolt is stolen. Percy, a son of Poseidon, is the prime suspect. He has two weeks to return the lightning bolt, or Zeus vows to start a war among the gods. Caught in a situation he doesn't understand, as his mother has never told him his true parentage, Percy must maneuver between the angry gods and discover the true lightning thief. To add to his troubles, his mother disappears.
So begins the adventures of the Young Olympians, children of the gods, demigods on earth.
