Soft Drink Changes

As of Friday, January 19 we will no longer be carrying Pepsi products. Prior to this date we received our soft drinks as five gallon tanks of premixed soft drink. Pepsi has decided to discontinue these, and told us we didn't sell enough soft drinks to serve us as a customer with what is called Bag in a Box, where the soft drink syrup and water are mixed and carbonated at the point of use. The only option they gave us was to sell cans and bottles.

We didn't like the idea of selling cans and bottles. We don't think they are appropriate for a theatre, and they generate much more garbage than the cups we currently used. As a result, we looked for a local supplier and this week Slush Puppie installed a Bag in a Box system for us. We will now be carrying RC products. Our flavors will include

• RC Cola
• Diet Rite Cola
• 7Up
• Canada Dry Ginger Ale
• Stewart's Root Beer
• Sundrop (similar to Mountain Dew)
• Dr. Pepper
• Hawaiian Punch

As you can see, we were able to replace all the old flavors and add two - Hawaiian Punch and Dr. Pepper. That was kind of a bonus for us, and we hope for you.
