May 14, 2008 7:01am - That time of the year is here again, and Ambridge is celebrating Nationality Days this weekend, May 16 - 18, 2008. As always, we will not be showing any films this weekend. However, the concession counter will be open part of Friday evening, during the day Saturday, and during the day Sunday. In addition, continuing a feature began last year, on Saturday and Sunday we will be having a continuous presentation of a pictorial history of Ambridge. Stop in, rest your feet for a while, and see some of the changes Ambridge has experienced over the years. Have a terrific weekend!

March 29, 2008 9:30am - We ordered a new power supply. It was scheduled to be delivered Friday morning, 3/28/08. After waiting for it to arrive, I called the transport company handling delivery. They said the driver was misrouted and would not arrive until the afternoon. Due to our son's wedding, we weren't able to accept delivery in the afternoon, so we had to reschedule delivery until Monday. As a result, we won't be able to have any shows Saturday, 3/29/08, or Sunday, 3/30/08. We do look forward to opening again. As always, we will post updates here on the website.

March 24, 2008 10:32am - Well, things went well Friday night (3/21/08). Unfortunately, when we fired up the projector for the first show on Saturday, the replacement power supply we had gotten blew, tripping the main breaker into the booth as it did so. As a result, we weren't able to show The Spiderwick Chronicles on Saturday and we have to get another power supply, as well as an electrician to check the wiring to the booth. Glenda will be talking to a supplier today about a new power supply. We're hoping to be able to be on the screen Saturday and Sunday this weekend, but until we know a little more we won't know if we will for sure. We'll be sure to keep you updated. March 15, 2008 8:00am - The part we ordered for the lamphouse power supply did come in on Friday. Unfortunately, it didn't fix the problem. After installing it and spending six hours more working on the equipment, things still aren't working. As a result, we're going to have to cancel all shows for this weekend. I do apologize. As soon as I have the problem resolved, I'll send another update. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience.

March 14, 2008 2:30am - Due to the fact that the parts we ordered still have not arrived, we will not be able to present a film on Friday, March 14, 2008. Our suppliers assure us that the parts will definitely be here today. I hope so. As soon they do arrive, I will be installing them. We apologize for the delays, and look forward to seeing you again soon.
