It is Harry's sixth year at Hogwarts. As usual, there is a teaching vacancy, and Dumbledore convinces Horace Slughorn to come out of retirement to become the potions teacher, while Snape attains his heart's desire, and becomes the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. Voldemort's minions are increasingly active, with Death Eaters attacking both muggles and wizards. Meanwhile, Harry finds that his potions text has notes signed by the 'Half-Blood Prince', notes that lead to Voldemort. Please note that the late show has been moved to 10:00PM on Friday and Saturday due to the length of the movie.

Scrat has met another proto-squirrel - Scratte. Diego feels like he's being treated like a house cat, rather than the sabre-toothed predator he is. Ellie is pregnant. And now Sid, wanting a family of his own, decides to hatch some eggs that he has found. It ends up they are dinosaur eggs. The hatchlings lead Sid to a strange underground world where his herd has to rescue him.
