The Soloist
The weekend of June 12, 2009 - June 14, 2009 we will be showing The Soloist, starring Robert Downey, Jr. and Jamie Foxx.
Steve Lopez is a reporter. He hasn't had a good story in a while, and the newspaper he works for is laying off journalists.
One day he happens upon Nathaniel Ayers, a former Juilliard student who is homeless, mentally ill, and living on the streets with his cello with only two strings.
The two become friends, but is that enough to help either?
