Where the Wild Things Are
The week of November 13, 2009 - November 19, 2009 we are pleased to present Where the Wild Things Are.
Rambunctious and sensitive, Max feels misunderstood at home, so he leaves. After a long journey, he lands on the island of the Wild Things, mysterious creatures whose emotions are as wild and unpredictable as their actions.
The Wild Things long for a leader. Max longs to be a ruler. Their desires lead to Max being crowned King of the Wild Things.He promises to create a place where everyone is happy, but reality has a way of settling in, and he finds that task to be more difficult than he thought. Ruling, after all, isn't easy, and relationships are always fraught with surprises.
Come see the classic children's tale come to life on the big screen. Do be aware that very young children may find parts of it intense.
